Bankruptcy due to poor money management is indicative of a behavioral issue that does not change over time.

Hey Travis, I am posting the link to the Ordinance. https://detroitmi.gov/sites/detroitmi.localhost/files/2019-0...It says that this ordinance was passed in 2019, however, @Drew Sygit says that it is still just a proposal.

Our mortgage was significantly higher than our flood insurance, and I don't know if we qualify to try to apply for FEMA or if there is other assistance, and if so, if we would apply as a business (we file it on our personal taxes as rental income).

Also there could be a good chance the borrower files BK if they are still alive.
