Many people have read books, or taken a class or signed up for a guru or coach on the benefits of MF investments, and certainly is evidenced by the recent rise of syndications in the MF space in the last few years.

They have to treat the buyer as a customer not client (or switch to transaction broker (neutral paper-pusher not coaching either side) but it’s kinda too late for that as they’ve already advised the seller on listing price etc.).

I've met Dean several times, attended his Note Summits, bought notes from him and was coaching for him in his online program back in 2010 and 2011.

Keep in mind that when someone joins BP, or any forum, and their only post ever is a glowing review about a "coaching" program/guru, it looks very suspect.

I like the ability to easily invest in new construction deals throughout the country where teams are already set up in place and they are able to coach me through the strategy of how to accomplish my goals. 

Whenever I reached out to someone I know who has done self-storage deals, they only gave super vague responses, often just a sentence or two.I am in both Houston and Las Vegas, so I’ll probably look within a 3-4 hour driving range for my first deal.

If I wind up selling off my Indy properties, I'd go buy in Reno or Vegas - Nevada has low property tax rates and appreciation is higher.

When you hire a business coach - is it education or consulting?

I would love to scoop up a turnkey cabin at a discount :) I have bought probably 25 props through auction . com auctions  ( mainly Vegas) highly competitive anytime they start the opening bid so low it brings out a lot of bidders.
