There should be some great options in Pacific Beach, North Park, Ocean Beach, Hillcrest and the College Area.

You probably don't see as many migrants from Louisiana in the Pacific Northwest and Idaho; I'm guessing people leave Louisiana for closer high-growth markets in Texas and Georgia.
