It's a College football town of around 25,000, (Ole Miss) and I was wondering if anyone on BP has looked into Oxford or has any property there.  

However I wanted to hear from the real world investors ar BP to see if I was living in a fantasy world. 

From my perspective, Charleston is a beautiful city with a vibrant economy, not "Fantasy Island" like Hilton Head in the 2000's.

No different than betting on a football game. 

The stately brick home with white shutters and a matching white picket fence fantasy home is still with us, but some people are reconsidering the notion that owning a home is part of the American Dream.

Americans don't mature well, many are still in the high school mode, rival football teams and all that, which is the better school.

I know getting a room there for football season can be very difficult, so look at your options with Airbnb to make some extra $$$ during the season.

Remember that many sellers are living in fantasy land.
