We supply loan quotes all day long to investors that buy & rehab 1-4 unit properties and 5-10 unit properties (including mixed use in all of those unit sizes).

But I'm a buy and hold owner operator type guy.     

They can buy their own meal.

I personally only buy vacation rentals in areas I want to take the family on vacation.This is not TX for me.

I would like to purchase my second property and plan on buying another SFR in the same area.

But your right this lender was very hesitant as i mentioned i wanted the funds to buy another investment and or hold as an emergency for when something pops.

I believe one way to help combat that is buying a newer home or even new construction (which most are offering great incentives right now).
