I'd love to get input from experienced people here on this idea.I searched for this situation in the forums and found several discussions of selling to an LLC but not on point with my situation. 

If the intent is to flip it, there are two ways people buy houses 1. with borrowed money 2. with their own cash.

Hi - I’m relatively new to the real estate game and am just starting to read multiple books involving this topic.I noticed a house being cleaned up two weeks ago, talked to maintenance people, and was in the right place at the right time to talk to the owner.

Obviously, based on my relationship with the company, I'm not unbiased, but most people here on BiggerPockets know that I value my reputation above all, and when I agreed to join FTF as an advisor a couple years ago, it was because I was very impressed not only with their business model and underwriting guidelines, but with the CEO (Matt Rodak) and the rest of the management team.I have no requirement to invest my own money on the FTF platform; I do that simply because I like the platform, like the deals that are being funded and find the returns to be nearly as good as the private lending I do, but without all the overhead. 

People create funky names for LLCs all the time.There are several considerations that can go into the analysis of whether you need an LLC or whether a large insurance policy will suffice.

I coach people on how to build private money brokerages and eventually start lending their own money. 

First, it seems weird and possibly illegal for people at the county level to threaten to remove a state licensed contractors license and threaten it over 6k. honestly I would take 1k from the possible 6k in question and hire a lawyer.

Now, a lot of people call and ask me what it takes to get a project like this done. 

There's less people buying 2 flats, therefore there's not as much competition to buy.

And laugh at people that ask what your fax number is.
