I'm a little surprise to realize I can not have a mortgage loan for more than 5 doors. 

While taking my first trip down to my county office to personally pull my own probate leads I never realized how hard it would be to do.

We recently bought a short sale 2nd home in Deltaville, VA which could make more $ than I will this year.....prompted the taking of a closer look at our portfolio and realized the need to add revenue producing assets for our family. 

I like advertising online and that is how I would shop for houses if I was a renter, but I realized that not all renters do that and some actually drive the neighborhood they want/need to live in. 

I realize it can be nerve racking to jump in.

.+ Check CraigsList for motivated sellers that don't realize what their home is worth because they are to cheap to hire a professional, or are so motivated that they don't care that you are getting a deal.

In conjunction with having rental properties I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a property with the intention of selling in the next 3 years, by getting a 3/1 or 5/1 ARM loan, after equity is realized.

I realize that this is an older thread, but it made me curious to find out how common it is for landlords to get injured or killed by tenants.
