I'd encourage you to reach out to your CPA post April 15th for the details and an in-depth explanation.While it would be advantageous for tax to do what you're describing (assuming it's permissible under Sec 179), it's most likely poor business sense.

If there is waterlogged soil outside the foundation with all of that rain, the pressure increases with depth, and it's pushing its way into the basement through the Drylok.I agree that if it's just wall moisture and that this is an outlying event (i.e., you very very rarely see these 8"+ rain events), you might simply dry things out and recoat.If it's likely to reoccur, french drains are an alternative.

Most screening companies won't give you that level of county/state in depth search that will usually turn up most felonies, mainly because of cost , lack of demand, and marketplace knowledge.Here's the issue: The multi state searches, and Intelius searches too (which are not FCRA compliant and can get you in real trouble,btw), are database searches.
