@Steve Olafson   Good Friend of mine is the GM of the company that owns that race they make a ton of dough with these race's  if the BP folks understood how much money was in orginaizing these types of races you would see a fleeing from RE  LOL

Not sure if I understood you correctly but I'll give it a shot.Since your rent is low, stay at your current place, and buy the under marketed house to rent out to make cash flow(buy and hold).

I was watching an interview with Kevin O'leary (Sharktank) where he was making the same observation to a young investor and how he personally wouldn't leverage as much in real estate as that investor was doing; however, he ended the conversation by saying that we do invest in what we understand and that investor, that Kevin was talking to, had been a real estate agent before so he understood that form of investing.We shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket, but I would definitely target real estate as a prime place to put your finances for long term wealth and growth.

Hey there,I've made an offer on  property from 1959 and it was accepted.Now I realize  there is an underground storage tank- that was used either for oil or fuel, and I don't know what to do.I understood from my agent , that it must be filled with gravel/earth (if it's not filled already) and then it is not a problem.But , I'm still worried - what can be the outcome of buying a house for buy&hold with this tank?
