I feel getting a license would not only help with your flipping reputation, but would also aid the begining investor in the slow times and allow you to sub out your workers, make some money, and keep busy year around.Granted the long term goal is to flip more homes and I wouldn't have the time to sub out my workers as I would make more money on flips than contracting out.

If I may add, Never by no means ever waterproof or try and correct the issue with interior drainage systems, think about it your still allowing moisture in the basement, if anything now your increasing moisture from entering into the dwelling because now you just exposed below the foundation floor, its a cheap way of putting a i guess you can say band aid on a more serious issue.
