you can buy compression fittings at lowe's or home deport for this purpose.http://www.lowes.com/Pipe-Fittings/PEX-Pipe-Fittin...you can use them with all different pipe and tubing types, as long as the diameters match up.My recommendation could be to use PEX, it's more resilient, and easier to install (bendy, hooray).

Imagine how many seeds you can plant if you put a 30 year mortgage on those properties, leaving 30% equity in each, taking that cash, and putting down 20-25% on a handful of other properties (or small multi-families) and what those “seeds” would grow to be in a few short years...Leaving homes paid off, in my opinion, are for those who don’t have much life left to live...

Flipping a quarter to see who wins is not a good business model.My vote if you have no documentation is rip out the carpet, use some oil-based Kilz on the floor, and go over it with resilient flooring like luxury vinyl plank that is much easier to clean and repair when pets piddle.

as you probably know houston has large oil and gas industry- specifically in my area there are many petrochem plants and such (ei: pipe yards, fabrication shops, drilling compnaies)
