Hello everyone,  My wife and I are travelling down from the metro-Detroit area of Michigan, to both St.

The lower unit is small and gets rented 6-9 months at a time to traveling school people like occupational therapists.

We purchased an RV last year under our personal names that is primarily used for business travel.

Looking for cheap flips and Brrrr opportunities.

It's all about the location, you might be able to buy a cheap house, but if it's in an area with nothing but other cheap houses and in an area that is "not desirable" you're not going to make much money on it, either in improvements or rent.

@Mike Klarman:  Can you quantify what "not cheap" is? 

It's better to pay more, knowing you have something secured versus cheaping out and not even closing. 

Health professionals are generally looking for 1-2 bedrooms and even travelers in other professions look for that size unit.

I work/travel for 6 months out of the year, so I am off for 6 months and working 12s for 6 months.
