@Julie Hassett next step in your radiator problem, put your hand on the pipe right beneath the "stuck " valve. if it gets hot while the system is running, you have a valve problem, if not, you have a bigger problem. good luck

I’m now going to make my real estate dream a reality.I’ve always wanted to own income properties but spent the last decade barely scraping by, living paycheck to paycheck working in the digital marketing industry.I’ve recently come into a small windfall that gives me the funds to make a down payment on a modest rental property.I’m here at Bigger Pockets to learn and hopefully make some connections so that I can make the most out of my new lease on life.It’s time to live up to the incredible and untapped potential I’ve always had bubbling just beneath the surface.In my free time I also like to practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu, lift weights and build websites.I have an 11 year-old Pit Bill Terrier named Lincoln who I also love to take hiking in the mountains.Thanks for having me.

I'm starting with throwing up batt insulation above the cellar hall (which will include clearing a lot of dirt and debris, and which is only possible beneath the bedroom - much of the crawlspace under at least one adjacent room is inaccessible to me until I can enlarge an access hatch, not possible at this time.)

I usually fill gaps with simple paper shims made out of painter's kraft paper rolls, stapled in with a manual staple gun (Arrow T50, tried and true). shave down rises with the block planes.
