Very likely an exponential graph?! 

Ask the LO if they can detail the loan process to you from there and give you estimated time frames for the milestone events of the loan process. 

It is difficult to make sure your builder is going to be all they say: on time, with milestones and ordering plans to meet them.

I remember the 400,000 milestone.

You can see much more general "trends" that might give you some guidance, but the reality is that there are huge variables that can shift a trend graph fairly quickly. 

It makes the most sense to pay a flat fee with incentives built in for budget and time milestones.
