I furnished a 1,000 square foot home for about $1,000 by buying used-but still nice-furniture, shopping for some things at Goodwill, and buying linens at a deep discount store. $15K sounds like a lot to me for such a small place.

From investing in / showcasing murals to repurposing recycled materials from a demo to build out community gardens, there are ways to promote goodwill and neighborly respect during rehabs and that's something I'd like to see more of. 

We can all learn how to install vinyl plank flooring, but how long will it take us and how good will the finished product look?

Take this as an opportunity to build good will.

If I was regretting selling it at a particular price I surely didn’t budge, but if I was happy with the outcome in advance then I usually try to make some sort of goodwill seller concession.

Buyers just got in-patient while we did the extra repairs, all out of good will.

Talk to goodwill. 

Ran some checks on HomeSnap and mortgage, taxes, and title all look good, (will confirm with title company/attorney).
