Since the loans aren't backed by anything, it's more risky than real estate backed notes.Full disclosure -- I too, have money in Lending Club and Prosper, but I'm nervous about it.

You cant remove a contingency on this wihout full disclosure...IMO.

Next, adding interest to an underlying loan, several issues, but your interest rate won't match the principal owing on the underlying mortgage this makes tax reporting and borrower disclosures difficult, beyond the financial scope of any small investor without a loan compliance department. 

This was not disclosed by the seller in the seller disclosure document.

Good morning, The duplex is an estate so no disclosure was required in CT but my inspection found asbestos pipe insulation in the basement.

In full disclosure I had already searched the property for liens (and knew its history), but the net is yes, its absolutely possible.
