I've told this story before here on BP, but here it is again.In 2007, i moved to the USA from Athens, Greece, selling my 2-bedroom apartment there for a 2-bedroom condo in one of the posher 'burbs of Pittsburgh.

Years ago, I believed it myself, and some serious digging might even uncover an ancient video where I said so.

But here's the problem: they all concern historical buildings (I invest in Europe, ancient cities like Maastricht and Liège).These will require a lot of renovations to get them up to speed with the new EU energy-efficient requirements and such.

Keeping in mind it is not fully rehabbed either but built 1980 so not too ancient with new windows, newer roof.

It's amazing how much of our legal system still uses that ancient language.

Interesting story, and remember ancient Chinese saying, there are many flowers in the field.

Where other countries might just raise taxes, it seems collecting the taxes owed is more of a problem for Greece.
