I would say they are more earth tone paint colors...browns, smokey blues, white, tan  etc.

We just rehabbed a house that had what I thought were tan walls...were actually painted white and tar stained we discovered.

The other thing about contamination is you never know how bad it is until you're under contract and have the tan removed and soil tested, if you are looking for a sure thing you may want to avoid as-is sales and many off market "deals".

pick 3 neutral colors, light tan, light grey, and off white.. tell the tenant they have 3 choices if you want them to be happy.. but nothing beyond that..                                                                            

Before it was all tan/cream just to match the rest of the house.

Meanwhile on the roof, I'm working on my tan while pulling wire.

Everything is painted in 'eloquent ivory' which is that light tan / almond non offenisve color everyone uses.
