Being a first time land lord, is this an acceptable number for a single family home rental?

I've listened to Jefferson Lilly and Brad Johnson's Park Street Partners podcast and received some great tips.

I generally think it is a good idea for someone to get use to home ownership and land lording, decide if it is for them after give it a try before jumping into their next property. 

You are a landlord so have to comply with land lord tenant laws even if renting a bedroom and house hacking.

@Christopher Leon do you think if im on a real estate forum discussing HOA issues that I would be a lazy land lord?
