& I just arrived here from Australia & had already been very active in REI in Adelaide, South Australia so it was a no brainer per se.Over the years I only ever discussed my acquisitions with him & he often gave great advice introducing me to some very well informed REI Investors he knew personally.

A solid company who fully manages your process (who exhibits positive answers to the questions above) is going to give you a higher level of comfort than one that affiliates.  

I got tired of self-managing so moved to Melbourne, Australia (OK, that was really because my husband got a great job opportunity). 

Probably why I exhibit so much contempt for those posters who piss and moan about their "problems."

Maybe next time faced with someone exhibiting the same behaviors or signs gives you great power to call them on it.

I spent close to $10K in just traveling and paying fees for property tours (run out of Australia) I have traveled to North Dakota, Montana (saw the crazy rush with the oil boom and people sleeping in their cars) Michigan, Georgia, and Chicago.
