Hi all and thanks for responding@Chris TanYour suggestions about finding someone in Israel are great, and that is on of my missionsActually I just came back from a friend of mine - American, and he gave me some phone numbers and other contact information of people here that invest in the US, and people in the US that invest in real estate, so it is a good startUntil now I was actually gave up on this idea, and start looking for investment here in my country, although it is expensive (and yes..our low priced areas more expensive than bigger houses in the US) for two reasons:1.

See Jay Z and Beyonce are just like regular Americans....except their mortgage is about $250,000 a month...They are reportedly billionaires but..I guess they wanted to lock in that low 4% interest.It would be pretty fascinating to see the financial records and income streams of some of these ultra wealthy folks.I wonder what type of real estate they might own besides personal residences if any. 

The interest rates are higher, and some doctor's see the "little money" or "no money down" as an opportunity to over-purchase (as many Americans do anyway).

US property may only be exchanged for other US property and a very few exceptions of territories that include the USVI, Guam, and American Samoa (but not Puerto Rico).

We get very good returns in Minneapolis but a condo is not the first thing I would point to  I guess what I'm saying is raise the bar of expectation or someone will sell you something and run-LOLYou are thinking like an American.

I do not have all the answers to tax questions, though, which brings me to the following situation.Like so many Americans, I found myself at retirement time with insufficient retirement funds to take care of my old days.

I also have sewer & water line insurance provided by DEP via American Water Resources (AWR) but every time I call them, they say there has to be a clog and all they will take care of will be fixing the clog.

Here in Ontario, Canada, there are privacy laws that make it impossible to find any of the lists that all of the American wholesalers on the BP podcasts talk about.
