After some research, it seems, there is nothing illegal about it, as long as there is not active knocking/engaging with the home owner, as well as staying away from communities whos HOA has a no trespassing signI get them all the time at my house, but they are usually for restaurants, which isn't offensive at all, which is why people probably won't complain and much as "I would like to help you sell your house if your house, etc"If anyone has any advice or knowledge about possible fines associated with this it would be much appreciated.

Plus, managing 1-2 properties from afar can become a hassle.Not discouraging but trying to present you the set of challenges you will encounter when buying single-family or smaller real estate properties.

I’d tell you to try and partner with someone else but that too is a challenge if you don’t have several years of experience.Try and save $5000 up and get a few good friends to save $5000.

But to everyone's point above you really have to work on finding the deals that aren't on the MLS which can be much more challenging but obviously that is where the 'homerun' deals are going to lie.
