The reason I am so sensitive to water/sewer is because my water bill averages about $1,800 per month. ( I have a corporate client which leases 20 of my 39 apartments and they have dozens of people cycling in and out of several of those apartments, showering, cooking around the clock.

We have finally accepted that the only way we're going to get reasonably good food in our area for a reasonable price is to cook it ourselves, after years of trying new restaurants and being disappointed.

At your age, if you *really* want to do this with RE investing, living at home with no responsibilities, you should be killing it 50+ hours per week making money, minimum, living on mom's homemade cooking and ramen noodles and banking every dollar for a year or two.
