Basically, I had to practically give them a sample of my DNA and my first born, to even be considered.So, unless he's been a homeowner (and you know what mortgage lenders want, too, as far as documenting everything), he knows that what you are asking for is not out of line.Stick to your guns.

The report stating there were no mold issue will stop any further concerns and be a smoking gun to kill their case if they come after you....which they won't.Its total overkill, but if its bothering you and keeping you up at night, then get the mold report and move on with your life and never give these people a second though again

I used to be very enthusiastic about it, really gung-ho and I'd do research for two/three weeks solid looking at deeds (liens) on many of the properties.I once gave a tip to a friend that if he got the property we would sell it and split the value minus his costs, it was oral deal (he was good friend), I could not afford the lien ($1700 plus subtaxes for three years), he ended up getting killed by a car crossing street.
