Before I could even fly back to NY he had already taken 10K from her bank account (by finding her passwords) stating he needed it to pay bills (lie #1) and then he seeking a lawyer to try to take part of her estate (which by the way was all hers the home on the water she paid cash for after selling the one i grew up in for a profit).

I know property taxes can be a bit steep but you can find a house for 300k in NJ (fixer upper) as opposed to NY.
