I agree it's a lot of money but if someone is willing to hold your hand and walk you through the process and then stick around with you afterward I think it's worth it.

I like to work with investors because they tend to be repeat buyers and sellers and that makes them a good resource for me, so I spend a lot of time on the mentor side of things with each one to make sure we share common goals of building up their portfolio and wealth.

You may loose some of the protection from Airbnb, but in most of the stories I see Airbnb typically takes the guests side and holds host financially liable with no recourse in many disputes.
