New carpet, cleaning of the entire property, new insulation, new plumbing, new paint on 3/4 of interior walls...

Our knowledge is that the previous owner insulated half of the building and then quit (probably ran out of money/effort).

I am planning to obtain several properties over time and want provide some personal protection and insulation.

Work in the attic - took down 4 paster/lathe walls installed improperly in the attic, installed new windows, and removed massive amounts of old insulation. 

We also insulated the space between the floor joists.

The projects I currently need done are - junk removal, painting cabinets, removing a large shrub, electrical work, insulating pipes, raking, and lawn mowing and edging when spring rolls around.

With 17 years under my belt in Houston, I've unclogged toilets at odd hours, dealt with unexpected messes during property assessments, and even crawled through cramped attics to sort insulation issues.

Find and manage foundation, framing, insulation, roofing, electricians, plumbers, drywallers, carpenters, flooring, HVAC, windows, etc on your own, and don't pay for someone else's time to do the same.Many builders in this market are also doing their own spec builds.  

Looking for any recommendations  from the forum members in the area for:- general contractor- fencing and landscaping- blown insulation installation- kitchen and countertopsAppreciate any good reliable contractor recommendations!
