Oil rubbed bronze is the only metallic spray paint I like...the rest I’ve tried have shiny flecks.

And of course , the price of oil which dictates a lot of inflationary costs due to shipping is fairly low despite two wars going on.

You can see this at work in Middle East countries that have enjoyed exploding population only made possible through oil and gas money.

Prepping/cutting in is the worst part and if you sand/spray the trim/doors with oil base, you have prep the finished trim again.  

I had a friend that worked at Devon energy that was part of some massive layoffs due to oil prices dropping.

Hell I bought my car for less than 10k, and I still take it to get the oil changed and washed once a month ~$40. 40/10000 = 0.4% monthly investment in my car.

I'm curious if the downturn in the oil and gas sector has started to affect the real estate market in the Houston area.

In a simple *conceputal only* example, say your s-corp consistently generates 100k a year, and you decide it will invest in an oil and gas rig.

My previous W2 was the lead over very time-sensitive, high value maintenance projects on Offshore oil rig (subsea department) where the extremely remote environment requires perfect planning(middle of ocean) .

I work “paid” on my days off from my offshore oil production job.
