@Jhonny Montoya you always have the big box stores that have inventory right off the shelf, but if you need/want a design and layout, you'll need a professional to make sure it all fits correctly.

In rare situations (historic work with nonremovable appurtenances), I will write a stipulation that expressly says what we're going to do to limit the potential for damage, and how much liquidated damage we're accountable for.For example, right now we're working on a historic home in Grant Park, and spent the first week bubble wrapping and plywood boxing out fireplaces, existing millwork, taking down historic fixtures and packaging them up, etc... the owner paid us to do so, and our contract has a limit for liability for damage to existing fixtures or millwork.

I was thinking shutting off power to the unit in the basement but I dont find any switch and looks like there is a seal on the meter. so assuming I cannot switch off the power to the box...I flip all the breakers in the OFF position, this will shut off the power to all the lines, then just untie the screw, take out the breaker, put a new one, tie the screw and we back in business ?

My question is... since I will incur expenses (local REI club dues, Bigger Pockets Pro, entertainment expenses while building a team, fuel while prospecting desirable localities for my target property type, maybe a separate cell number and PO Box for direct mail responses etc...) this year, but will most likely not purchase a property until 2017, am I able to deduct those expenses against my w2 earned income this year?
