haven't ran across a lot of buried well heads when I do I usually extend the casing to at least ground level and cap(still mow over it) I prefer to extend the casing at least six inch above ground and I add some bleach and cap, but the winters aren't like yours.

@Jason Kidwell ..Depends on market, prices, how much $$ to start out...I used leverage in the beginning to build cash flow..After cash flow in place you can start buying for cash...I prefer a mix....leverage is a great tool,but don't over extend...
