So, I'm starting to hear more about this 'Social Score' being implemented by China come 2020.

As much as I appreciate Grant for his social media channels, it is getting harder and harder to find some real information on the company and how they operate.

My social circle is filled with very successful people...a congressional chief of staff, a dod policy advisor, a partner at a major DC lawfirm, the head of social media for Fannie Mae. 

I am not an attorney and I do not know anything about Canadian Law.

I'm a little rusty on my Canadian inheritance taxes but in the USA one gets inherited property tax free and in your scenario you'd want to talk to a chartered accountant before making any decisions, there could be unanticipated tax liabilities (I'm don't know for sure).
