Millennials are already falling into the same consumerism traps that previous generations fell into.

If people and jobs are leaving, it is most likely a value trap - cheap, but going to get cheaper.

Education ad it is now - a trap.

I was astonished by how useful and relevant Elizabeth Warren's book, "The Two-Income Trap" was to real estate investing.

I just feel stuck and trapped at the moment.

Debt wise and leverage wise, I'm more like an 80 year old investor trapped in a 32 year old investors body..... but it works for the time being :)  Being at sub 100 actively managing without much debt....

Don't find yourself getting trapped into landlord tenant laws and rent control.

My situation was not good because I inherited the tenant and my property manager does not specialize in section 8.
