I like animals in general.

Loose animals, trash in the park, bandit signs, people acting "suspicious" by walking down the street and "looking at houses" (not sure what else you're supposed to look at in a residential neighborhood, but ok) or driving down the alley (which all the garages face to).

Really a VERY different animal from what most RE investors go after.  

If the owner sees a trend, or is just animate about upping the 2% - they make an offer of renewal and the tenant has two choices.

Yes, they can stay in hotels, but some people have larger families and/or animals (if you allow animals), and it can be more convenient to stay someplace that has a "feel" of being more homey.

But ESA's and service animals are two totally different things.Service Animals=an animal that has been trained to help someone with a physical disability.
