Even in an extremely un-landlord friendly place like Los Angeles, I am getting double-digit CoC on properties I purchased around that time...and yes, they're all in great condition and are properties that I'm proud to rent out...places that I would feel comfortable having my parents live in.

A couple of things to consider, the first code that is generated for each guest is long, 16 digits, however, guests can change it to a 3-6 digit one, and also once you create a code, there is no way to cancel it remotely, you have to be near the lock to cancel the code is you need to.

Not giving legal advice, but my understanding of the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act is that digital copies of a signed contract carry the same weight as the original copy.

The thing I am reading online is that this won't necessarily hold up in court as there is a difference between a digital signature, an e-signature and then I guess there are legal version of those.
