Without knowing the cost of interest on the line of credits, it is hard to say whether this is a good or bad option.

Zillow now has renting rooms options and you can go on Facebook Marketplace. 

Any other options anyone can think of? 

Typically no flood insurance needed depending on where you buy. 

Also i suspect there is not as much offered here over existing options as some believe.  

Hey @Jay Ritchie - From our experience here in Chicago, we typically see new water/sewer lines range in cost from $16-24k depending on the depth of the trench, distance from the street to house, and just different contractors.What area of the city are you in?

The other option would be to do it early to enjoy—it's up to you!

Hi @Keaton Vols, congrats on the house hack and getting started early.As you're aware, there are many investing strategies you might consider, though if your aim is to expand your portfolio then BRRRR investing is a great option.

Same for hard money loans, under 100k is typically not an issue as long as the ARV is 100k+.
