If you are screening their application, you can do so with driver's license and pay stubs like you would anyone else.If the tenant claims to be military and has to break their lease early because they will be stationed somewhere else, then a copy of their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders would suffice.Help us help you.

From what I understand you get a temporary deferral, followed by a stepped up basis and permanent exclusion after 10 years...seemingly much better than the perpetual 1031 deferment.

The pictures don't show the bottom very well and I can't tell if they are actually sitting on footings (a larger block of concrete in the ground) or just on the concrete floor, which is the second issue.A structural engineer will tell you that they need to be replaced by permanent fixed length support collumns.
