After I got the plan, the architect had me reframe out parts of the kitchen to fix some structuralIssues that had come up.

Does anyone have recommendations for architects and general contracting firms in the Boston area?

One of the important professional left out in the process is the Architect.

In the professional world, when an architect uses an interior designer on a restuarant project, for example, the job of the interior designer is to prepare interior drawings to be included in the permit drawing set.  

I have the property under contract and have completed the home inspection.2)  I have had an architect walk through the unit and done a complete code review.3.)  

Our architect is in Delaware and we built in Delaware.

Looking for a skilled and reasonably priced architect and/or draftsman in Maryland.

IMO, all signs point to Anacostia/Barry Farms becoming that desirable destination based off major renovations/developments, close proximity to Navy Yard(Forbes listed Navy Yard one the coolest neighborhoods in the world), and advice form realtors/architects.

He's been in the NYC business as an architect, owners' rep, and developer for 40 years.
