The people with the new fancy cars, trendy clothes, and a $300 a month cappuccino habit are no happier than you or me, and actually may have MORE financial stress.  

Yes, I get it that we've already covered housing because the phrase is "making $100K above living expenses (which includes housing)," but there are still other expenses that are higher.   

And the phrase "passive income" probably does more damage than any other to people entering the profession.

Now if  people ask me for help, I see these people getting conned by the trendy area, path of progress etc....  

I have flipped in Joshua Tree and looking to do some ground up construction in the area...Joshua Tree is a trendy area, good for vacation rental and Airbnb.Yucca Valley and 29 Palms is an owner/occupant area to monthly rental to locals... vacationers prefer not to stay in these area...

Just not a hip and trendy area.  

This phrase, "war zones".
