joe i also invest in 19134 and i use allstate in ambler pa. they insured my first 4 then they had to switch me to their sister company american modern for the last two because i havent been with allstate for more than 4 years. im not exactly thrilled with them at this point. great customer service but the sister company is not that investor friendly

I know of landlords who had to invest many thousands of dollars to bring it to a level the city would approve - in some cases they force modern upgrades on homes that met inspection 20 or 30 years ago but not now.

Also, sometimes existing structures are "Grandfathered in" meaning they don't comply with modern setback requirements etc, so sometimes it makes sense to keep just enough of the old house to keep grandfathered in and just rebuild on top of that.

The open cabinet design is usually a very modern and sleek look, but the wood that's been used on these looks kinda cheap and it makes the kitchen look more desolate than inviting.Based on these pictures, I would probably scroll right on by as well, if I were an owner occupant.
