If you have a good realtor you should be able to trust them to make a judgement call and then write an offer that offers plenty of protection to you.

As I said before, I do have a pit bull that is harmless and I had met a golden retriever that because of over breeding was extremely vicious so breed is not always a good basis for judgement. 

Ultimately it came down to a judgement call on my part of the guy sitting in front of me.

I think a lot of them will make assumptions or judgements about female investors especially if they sense you are new.  

In the end, just like doctors, lawyers are just people and sometimes their judgement gets mired after seeing too many exceptions to the rule.
