Do I need to put anything under the LVP to protect /insulate it from the slab?

I think the few ways to really insulate your self if your that worried. 1. is a true irrevocable family trust with you as trustee and your kids as the bene to 95% of the assets. 3. start now and put your rentals in a charitable remainder trust.. this could work.5. just don't own rentals  be on the debt side only own notes .. and commercial if possible those have very little risk as they avoid dodd frank issues. and owner occ lender liability issues.7.

Knocked down a wall to one of of the bedrooms to create an open concept kitchen/family room (changed the original family room to a bedroom), insulated those walls, drywall/plaster, new electrical (all knob and tube), moved plumbing in the kitchen, new kitchen, painted every room and sanded/stained the hardwoods.Options for the unit the tenants are moving out of 1) Cosmetics (1 month - Rent out February 1 or sooner)- Paint rooms- Sand floors?

I encapsulated the crawl space with foam board insulation and vapor barrier and installed a crawl space dehumidifier and a lot of lights. 

With 17 years under my belt in Houston, I've unclogged toilets at odd hours, dealt with unexpected messes during property assessments, and even crawled through cramped attics to sort insulation issues.

This gentleman didn't even want to put in insulation in the house.
