It weird cause the deceased was a lawyer..seems she would have had some sort of will drawn up.

Some local newspapers have estate notices giving details of executor & address,deceased name & last address etc .work from there

Yesterday,  I received an email from a deceased tenant's niece saying he passed away.  

A probate may or may not be required depending on if one of the current title holders is the spouse of the deceased.  

If any federal inheritance tax is due, it is paid by the deceased's estate.  

Maybe even across the border in Vancouver up to Longview?
