I do like Meridianville for rentals and it isn't too far away....The new plants like Toyota, GE, etc are going in the area west of Madison - near Greenbrier. 

I now work in a commercial nuclear plant. 

I figured they had to do tons of market research to decided to plant boots in a market so it would be a good place for me to start.  2.

After a Toyota manufacturing plant moved in on the south side of town, bank 'call centers' followed -- it was a game changer because growth was traditionally always on the north side of town. 

Tesla will be opening their manufacturing plant soon, and hiring another 20,000 people according to CleanTechnica.

Periodically they receive a small gift... usually something for the home, a door mat, potted plant, tablecloth, stepping stones, etc.

A large portion of North Texas plant life goes dormant from mid October until late February because of winter.

For a quick flip and low cost I would replace the window, paint the garage door, put up some nice carriage lamps on either side of the door, plant bushes from the garage to the front porch and upgrade the interior of the garage.

I also work in Detroit sometimes at the auto plants.

Like I learned to sheetrock and mud (and decent flat texture) in my garage (who cares if not perfect).
