If you were paid for your time it would need to be added to your taxes as income and you would pay taxes on it Ok, there were so other items that I was not paid for, caulk, some carpet padding, so for things I was not reimbursed for can I add to my list of deductions?

We found out that Return on Rentals only painted the rooms and replaced the carpeting with cheap carpeting without padding.
