Another note is that the 'investment adviser' has not given me any information that I asked for since I wired the money over on Monday and when I expressed concerns just said something to the like that these properties are hot and if I don't want them someone else will buy them.

If you are convinced this person is not relaying info to the seller than mail out a letter etc. to the seller expressing interest.

Which means that they have at least talked with the seller, got their contact info (name/address/email/cell phone) and verified that the seller is interested in selling AND expressed some level of motivation.
