Certainly some have but I'm guessing its under 10%.I can't help but think that this thread really displays the book ends of emotions in investing, neither of which are the most healthy.

We need to learn how to negotiate and to not get out emotions involve in the deal.

The moment that you let your feelings and emotions effect your business decisions, its probably time to hire a property manager.

Pointing out that regressive taxes on necessities hardly qualifies as some form of personal choice is economic analysis, not emotion. 

I would take the emotion out of it and really look at the situation from an objective stance.As for evicting your tenant, it doesn't matter what the tenant or the tenant's lawyer feels is right or wrong.

Remove the emotional thinking out of it and have a solution to the problem.

It sounds like you’ve done this already but when I remove the emotion from my real estate decisions the decisions I make start benefitting me more.
