I speculate, that in my market, the tenants enlisting realtors are actively looking for a home (unlikely to renew) and want to get there roots down in the town while they shop.- another animal of course if you enlist a realtor...

I would of course recommend trying to get to the root of it and conquering it, but if it's not something you forsee yourself doing in the near future then doing syndication/private money lending might be your best fit.

@Dan StrandbergUnless the process is different there, the inspection should include identifying the type of septic tank and drain field/system; evacuation; checking for cracks/roots/deterioration; type of material tank is made of; if it’s level; size of the tank- is it large enough for the number of bedrooms; whether it closes properly; whether water run through it drains properly; that the ‘hatch’ closes properly; setbacks from the home/boundary etc; and whether both septic and drainage meet any existing regulations.Hope this helps!

There is a cleanout (pvc) fairly close to where the pipe exits the basement.There are no tree roots from here to the street.

They tend to have better bones and better quality construction...but I hate the bathrooms that comes in teal, pink, yellow, green, blue...I have nine bathrooms in various properties covering the entire rainbow color spectrum.I am seeking advice on two things.First, most of these bathroom have the integrated ceramic soap dishes, tooth brush holders.

But the plumber can usually tell what caused the clog...if it wasn't tree roots causing a backup, it was most likely something like paper, hair, etc.I just simply say, "I'm sorry, but someone in the household has been flushing a lot of paper or something.
