I manage a 10 unit apartment complex, and we have a mostly mild (some units moderate) roach infestation that is affecting almost all the units. 

I have been doing my research for about 6 months and have been mildly obsessed with real estate since it bit me about 8 months ago.

I couldn't imagine starting my rehabbing career with long-distance projects -- it would just be too difficult, time-consuming, stressful, etc.As for selling, there's a chance we'll have to wait until Spring to sell, but the weather is still pretty mild right now, so hopefully we'll have a bunch of showings before the snow hits, and maybe we'll get lucky.

This MI winter has been mild so far (not much below 30 at night) but no clue if that'll last thru the season.

I would say urban core areas in many states only had a mild dip and have quickly recovered versus suburban and rural areas that recover last in a down cycle.So I am seeing some recovery in my market in certain asset classes but not mass recovery across the board.

Once you put these things into context, landlording can be mildly annoying, mostly satisfying, or a long trip to hell.

Wow asset protection for life assets is a pretty deep subject and I could only sound mildly competent to comment on it.

That is to put their feedback mildly :-) I had a bit of drama when the company almost refused to allow me to use that inspection company but we ironed that out (I would have ended the deals if we couldn't use who I wanted).
