SFH investing is driven by irrational home buyers not investors.   

We know buyers tend to be irrational creatures and the industry tries its best to make sense out of the behavior which does make some of it difficult.

You're either incredibly naive, irrationally desperate, or are just treating this as a game, Richard.

I know this is going to sound irrational but I avoided going to these when I was brand new because I thought someone might try to take advantage of me either through an expensive course I didn't need or with a junk property they wanted to unload.

Fighting our innate irrationality is very difficult.I listened them on my phone and saved some of the best to listen again later.  

However,  even if you know why they are selling  and when they need to sell, the seller may have an irrational idea supported by emotions that may kill the deal. 

Is this an irrational fear?
