The reality of it all is that many fail to recognize that life is designed fundamentally on the idea of TIME ⏳(plant > cultivate > harvest OR sow > reap). 

A couple thoughts: Step #1 - keep the rentals and harvest the equity for redeployment - both @Kevin Dean and @Michael Ealy mentioned this approach. 

It's a rural property with timber that's not ready for harvest.

But then when the market dips down you won’t have any capital left to reap the harvest of discounted properties.
